College Bus
Two buses are operating for the convenience of students and staff, one from Kollam and the other from Punalur. All needy students can utilize the bus facility by paying a nominal fee. The transportation wing of YCP always aims for safety of the students and staffs and hence experienced set of drivers are employed to do the service. The operation and maintenance of the buses is taken care of by the Bus Committee.
Hostel
The Polytechnic has separate hostels for boys and girls located in the campus itself. The Boys Hostel accommodates 200 students. The calm atmosphere and security service ensures a peaceful and comfortable stay for the inmates. Spacious rooms and study hall provides the students with all necessities that urge them to study and do their work. The hostels are endowed with recreation rooms, mess, medical aid and prayer room besides basic facilities.
Library and Reading Room
The Central Library and knowledge centre is one of the most important academic facilities provided to the students, faculty and non-teaching staff. The central library contains a large stock of books related to numerous subjects and literatures. Library has a sufficiently large reading hall which can accommodate 200 students at a time. Students can borrow two books at a time and shall return it within the prescribed duration of time.
